Workshop: Character Creation (March)

You will learn the basics for creating a circus character! We will explore different styles of movement, emotions, and transitions. Open to all skill levels, and all circus disciplines. About Tristan: At the age of 27 without any previous gymnastic or dance training, Tristan Jih decided to become an aerialist. Cobbling together his own circus education from the resources around him in Las Vegas, Tristan dedicated himself to aerial straps. His first aerial performance was on America's Got Talent, and afterwards he worked in the comedy variety troupe called the Quiddlers. In 2016 he was hired by Cirque du Soleil for the the Beatles LOVE show, where he remained until 2024 as a general aerialist as well as backup character role. You can still find him on the 9th island. Please read the following before purchasing: CANCELLATIONS - Workshops can be cancelled for a full-refund until 48 hours prior to the start of class, and for a partial refund until 24 hours prior to the start of the class. We are unable to offer refunds within 24 hours of the start of the class. We are fully insured for aerial and acrobatic sports to protect our students and our instructors. That said, aerial is a high risk sport, even the gentler varieties like aerial yoga, and should be treated as such. All students will be required to fill out a liability release form prior to attending class.
