Take your rope practice to the next level in this dynamic aerial rope class designed for experienced aerialists ready to expand their vocabulary and refine their technique. This class focuses on momentum-based movement, powerful tricks, and fluid sequencing, helping you build strength, creativity, and confidence on the rope. We’ll explore beats, wraps, drops, and transitions, with an emphasis on clean technique and control. You’ll work both high and low on the rope, linking skills into phrases that flow with precision and style. Prerequisites: - 4 solid consecutive straddle inversions in the air - At least 3 pull-ups - Prior silks experience required, pri/int lev About Victoria Roos Aerial Instructor & Performer Victoria Roos is a seasoned aerialist and circus artist with a Bachelor of Arts in Circus Arts from CODARTS University of the Arts in Rotterdam, where she specialized in aerial arts. Since launching her professional career in 2008, Victoria has performed and taught internationally, bringing her dynamic stage presence and deep technical knowledge to audiences and students around the world. In 2016, she began collaborating with Aerial Arts Hawai'i, contributing to performances and workshops across the islands. Her move to Maui marked a new chapter as a featured silks artist in the acclaimed ʻUlalena show. There, she also founded Cirquelicious Entertainment and Aerial Dance Maui, creating platforms for contemporary circus and community engagement through movement. Now based on the Big Island once again, Victoria continues her creative work and teaching in closer partnership with Aerial Arts Hawai'i. Her classes are known for their blend of strength, artistry, and thoughtful technique, inspiring students to find both power and expression in the air. CANCELLATIONS - All 6-week series can be cancelled for a full-refund until 48 hours prior to the start of series, and for a partial refund until 24 hours prior to the start of the series. We are unable to offer refunds within 24 hours of the start of the series. - Individual classes within a 6-week series cannot be rescheduled if missed; please be sure you can attend each class. Aerial Arts Hawai’i LLC is fully insured for aerial and acrobatic sports to protect our students and our instructors. That said, aerial is a high risk sport, even the gentler varieties like aerial yoga, and should be treated as such. All students will be required to fill out a liability release form prior to attending class.
