Kupuna Aerial Yoga is a gentle, grounding aerial practice designed to support bodies across generations. Using the aerial hammock (sling) as a steady, nurturing support, this class focuses on slow, intentional movement, supported stretching, functional strength, balance, and mindful flow, without fast or dynamic transitions. It is an ideal space for anyone seeking a calmer, more accessible aerial experience, whether you are new to aerial yoga, returning to movement, or looking to build strength and confidence at a thoughtful pace. This class sets the foundation for shared learning, mutual respect, and moving together in a supportive community. About The Teacher: Patrick has been studying the practice of yoga for 16 years, and was first introduced to aerial yoga 9 years ago. Patrick began teaching aerial yoga in an effort to explore the diverse asana possibilities and deeper pranic expression that the sling can offer as a supportive prop to any level of yogic practice. In Patrick's words: "Of all the experience that aerial yoga offers it is the union of earth and sky that I feel mirrors our form and breath which makes this particular form of yoga unique to practice. That said, aerial is a high risk sport, even the gentler varieties like aerial yoga, and should be treated as such. All students will be required to fill out a liability release form prior to attending class.
