About

Join Fae and Andre in this two hour workshop where we will focus heavily on exploring various techniques and foundational positions along with intermediate/advanced elements and a lot of spin technique! Don't miss out on some good stomach churning spinning! WHAT IS SPANISH WEB? Spanish Web is an aerial apparatus consisting of a rope with a loop attached at the top. Performers secure themselves to that loop with their hand or foot and are spun rapidly by a partner on the ground to hit a variety of shapes and poses that make for a highly dynamic aerial act. PREREQUISITES Ability to climb and rope and or fabric (silks), and be able to hold yourself up in the air for at least 30 seconds. Suggested to bring wrist guards and or wrist tape. ABOUT THE TEACHERS Fae and Andre are circus artists and duo performers with extensive experience setting and flying on the Spanish web. With a background in classical dance movement, that style shines through in the air with stunning strength and fluidity.
