Workshop: Movement + Creativity on Trap

In this two hour workshop, Meg will guide you through the some of the basics of flowing with Dance Trapeze. This unique apparatus utilizes modern dance and aerial modalities, which provide a unique opportunity to create and explore movement. We will cover some basics to get you started on your creation journey and then collaborate and construct a unique flow sequence for each participant. This workshop is wonderful for those who have been wanting to dip their toes into the aerial world, have been long-time aerialists but maybe never tried the trapeze, have been trapeze artists for a while and want to explore their craft, or anyone who wants to practice flowing and movement exploration. ABOUT MEG Meg originally started her aerial journey at Canopy Studios in Athens, GA, which is one of the world’s most prominent dance trapeze creation centers. Through the wonderful instruction she received there, her love for this fantastic art form grew into something she wanted to share with others. Since then, she has been able to train with several other prominent circus artists to hone her art and create the curriculum she brings to this course.
