About

Welcome all explorers of Aerial and Yoga to this advanced series of Psychonautic Aerial Yoga, where we will discover the Psychonautic process of self-discovery through suspended yoga practice. As Yoga is an ancient science of uniting the mind and body, more deeply the “Psyche” of the internal self with the “Nautic” that surveys the physical terran, in this practice we will voyage from Earth to Space, touring through the outer form of our body while observing the inner space of our spirit and breath. This is a secondary level class and requires more strength and focus than our 1st level restorative series. While the restorative series is not required for entrance into this class, previous practice in Aerial silks/sling, or Yoga is required. In addition to the pre-exposure of either arts, the physical ability to perform a full pull up is also important for this shared practice. ABOUT PATRICK Patrick has been studying the practice of yoga for 16 years, and was first introduced to aerial yoga 9 years ago. Patrick began teaching aerial yoga in an effort to explore the diverse asana possibilities and deeper pranic expression that the sling can offer as a supportive prop to any level of yogic practice. In Patrick's words: "Of all the experience that aerial yoga offers it is the union of earth and sky that I feel mirrors our form and breath which makes this particular form of yoga unique to practice.
