In this 6 week series we will explore the most common of burlesque props - the chair! Classes will include burlesque theory and history, bump and grind dance review and instruction, and building your character and brand. Ready to level up? Throughout this class we will develop fun Chair-ography for our intermediate level students. We will also explore the engineering and building blocks of pastie making and tassel twirling. At the end of the series we will have the opportunity to show off our sassy new skills in a studio class recital. Students must provide their own dance shoes (jazz, ballroom, lyrical), a long sleeve button down shirt or long sleeve jacket with zipper, and a bra or sports bra that they don’t mind pining or gluing tassels/pasties to. Please read the following before purchasing: CANCELLATIONS - All 6-week series can be cancelled for a full-refund until 48 hours prior to the start of series, and for a partial refund until 24 hours prior to the start of the series. We are unable to offer refunds within 24 hours of the start of the series. - Individual classes within a 6-week series cannot be rescheduled if missed; please be sure you can attend each class. COVID-19 SAFETY PROTOCOLS Please wear a mask when you enter and move about the facility. Masks are required during training for the safety of the student and teacher.
