Lady Lily's Burlesque Basics (adults)

This class will involve burlesque choreography, history/theory, money and time saving tips, the art of burlesque movement, and how to build your first burlesque piece. Common questions: •Can anyone do Burlesque? - Yes! •How much does Burlesque cost? - From zero to sky is the limit, your choice! •Do I have to get naked for Burlesque? - Nope, but let’s explore those thoughts Please come to class in comfortable clothes. Ballroom heels are suggested if you have them and wish to practice in heels, jazz dance shoes or trainers/sneakers are also acceptable. Please, NO bare feet or slippers, and NO clothing that drag on the floor. This is for your own safety! If and only if you feel like doing your hair, makeup and getting gorgeous, please feel free and get gorgeous! You do you! Please read the following before purchasing: CANCELLATIONS - All 6-week series can be cancelled for a full-refund until 48 hours prior to the start of series, and for a partial refund until 24 hours prior to the start of the series. We are unable to offer refunds within 24 hours of the start of the series. - Individual classes within a 6-week series cannot be rescheduled if missed; please be sure you can attend each class. COVID-19 SAFETY PROTOCOLS - Please wear a mask when you enter and move about the facility. Masks are required during training for the safety of the student and teacher. We do have mask brackets available for free to our students, which greatly help with breathability while exercising, so if you'd like one, please let us know. - Mesh masks (like the popular sparkle variety) must be worn with paper or cloth masks beneath them. - Training stations are set more than 6 feet apart for safe distancing. - All mats are wiped down between use; facility is sanitized daily. - Hand sanitizing/washing and contactless temperature checks are done upon arrival. - Fabrics are never shared between students (unless they are living in the same household and have consented to shared use). - We encourage students to bring their own apparatuses if they have them. - If using AAH apparatuses, we sanitize all equipment between student use with an alcohol or hydrogen peroxide based cleaner, and frequently wash fabrics. Aerial Arts Hawai’i LLC is fully insured for aerial and acrobatic sports to protect our students and our instructors. All students will be required to fill out a liability release form prior to attending class.
