Join us in exploring the unique art of dance trapeze. Combining aspects of modern dance, hammock, silks, and lyra, dance trapeze is a unique and versatile apparatus that provides a wide variety of movement options. Perfect for beginners and returning aerialists alike, this class will be a fun exploration into the world and theory of dance trapeze. About the teacher: Meg originally started her aerial journey at Canopy Studios in Athens, GA, which is one of the world’s most prominent dance trapeze creation centers. Through the wonderful instruction she received there, her love for this fantastic art form grew into something she wanted to share with others. Since then, she has been able to train with several other prominent circus artists to hone her art and create the curriculum she brings to this course. Please read the following before purchasing: CANCELLATIONS - All 6-week series can be cancelled for a full-refund until 48 hours prior to the start of series, and for a partial refund until 24 hours prior to the start of the series. We are unable to offer refunds within 24 hours of the start of the series. - Individual classes within a 6-week series cannot be rescheduled if missed; please be sure you can attend each class. COVID-19 SAFETY PROTOCOLS - Masks are currently optional inside the studio. - Training stations are set more than 6 feet apart for safe distancing. - All mats are wiped down between use; facility is sanitized daily. - Hand sanitizing/washing and contactless temperature checks are done upon arrival. - We encourage students to bring their own apparatuses if they have them. - If using AAH apparatuses, we sanitize all equipment between student use with an hydrogen peroxide based cleaner. We are fully insured for aerial and acrobatic sports to protect our students and our instructors. That said, aerial is a high risk sport, even the gentler varieties like aerial yoga, and should be treated as such. All students will be required to fill out a liability release form prior to attending class.
