About

Join us in exploring the unique art of dance trapeze. Combining aspects of modern dance, hammock, silks, and lyra, dance trapeze is a unique and versatile apparatus that provides a wide variety of movement options. Perfect for beginners and returning aerialists alike, this class will be a fun exploration into the world and theory of dance trapeze. About the teacher: Meg originally started her aerial journey at Canopy Studios in Athens, GA, which is one of the world’s most prominent dance trapeze creation centers. Through the wonderful instruction she received there, her love for this fantastic art form grew into something she wanted to share with others. Since then, she has been able to train with several other prominent circus artists to hone her art and create the curriculum she brings to this course. COVID-19 SAFETY PROTOCOLS - Please wear a mask when you enter and move about the facility. Masks are required during training for the safety of the student and teacher. We are fully insured for aerial and acrobatic sports to protect our students and our instructors. That said, aerial is a high risk sport, even the gentler varieties like aerial yoga, and should be treated as such. All students will be required to fill out a liability release form prior to attending class.
